KELO is an SMS accountability coach. this policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. we tried to keep it short and human.
what we collect
- your name and phone number
- your SMS consent records, which may include the timestamp, consent version, signup source, signup URL, IP address when available, and User-Agent
- your goals, check-in responses, and the messages you exchange with KELO
- subscription and billing metadata from Stripe. we never store your card number
- basic technical logs (timestamps, errors) to keep the service running
how we use it
- to document your consent to receive messages
- to deliver the SMS messages you requested and reply to you
- to personalize your coaching and track progress over time
- to operate billing, prevent abuse, and maintain security
- to comply with messaging and legal requirements
who we share with
we use a small set of trusted service providers to operate KELO, such as Twilio (SMS delivery), Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI responses), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email), as applicable. they only process the data needed to run KELO on our behalf. these operational service providers are different from third-party marketers — we do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing. we do not sell your personal information.
mobile information
KELO does not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers as necessary to operate KELO, deliver requested services, maintain security, and comply with law.
messaging & your choices
- message frequency varies based on your activity and settings
- message and data rates may apply
- reply STOP to opt out at any time
- reply START to opt back in where supported
- reply HELP for help
- request access, export, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing hello@textkelo.com
account deletion and messaging opt-out are distinct operations: opting out of texts does not delete your account, and deleting your account is a separate request. some consent records may need to be retained for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations even after you opt out or delete your account.
